A letter from our editors...

Dear Readers,  

Welcome to Ink and Influence, a collection of articles written, edited and curated by King’s InterHigh KS5 students.  

As editors, our role is to review all the works and uphold an editorial standard, whilst coordinating the group to achieving our main goals as a club; to amplify student voices, encourage collaboration and give the audience some food-for-thought. We have worked alongside the writers to produce this edition dedicated to celebrating the culmination of all the hard work of Year 12 students.

Before we dive into the details of the publication, we’d like to introduce the team of talented individuals who made this possible.  

Firstly, our columnists; without their passion, dedication, and enthusiasm, this publication would not have been possible. Each writer has poured their variety of insights on what means most to them into every single article, just for you. 

Then we have our branches of student leadership-each headed by a team just like ours. There’s the Audience & Visibility department, creating outreach campaigns for student readership to get involved in our club. Alongside them works Digital Design & Development, responsible for creating a cohesive visual identity, and sorting the formatting of our work. 

Last, but certainly not least, our resident artist and illustrator Demetra, who has put her creative capabilities into turning our visions into reality. 

It has been a real pleasure to learn more about our peers’ diverse variety of passions, interests and opinions, and we hope you enjoy them as much as we did!
